244 TECHNICAL INFORMATION On the following pages, you will find a series of quick reference points that will help you to choose the right product for your installation. If you would like further information, please refer to our technical documentation, which is available at: www.indexfix.com The first points are descriptive and help us to understand the geometry of the anchorage and its corresponding reference code. The next ones are product installation parameters, using mm as units of distance, kg for the maximum recommended loads and Nm for the tightening torque of the anchors. The majority of the products come with a dimensioned sketch, and the meaning of these levels for the anchors are described below: EXTRACTION Maximum recommended tensile load that the anchor can resist. This has been calculated by applying a safety factor of 1.4 to the anchor’s resistance of calculation and it is expressed in kg. This factor is applicable for cracked and non-cracked concrete. The safety factor for other materials can reach 2.5. SHEARING Maximum recommended shear load that the anchor can resist. This has been calculated by applying a safety factor of 1.4 to the anchor’s resistance of calculation and it is expressed in kg. This factor is applicable for cracked and non-cracked concrete. The safety factor for other materials can reach 2.5. Tinst TECHNICAL INSTALLATION PARAMETERS d0 bit or drill diameter [mm] h1 minimum drill or hole depth [mm] hmin minimum base material thickness [mm] df diameter of hole in the fixture [mm] hnom anchor installation depth [mm] tfix maximum fixture thickness [mm] tinst tightening torque required for the correct anchor expansion [Nm] Ccr critical edge distance [mm] Sc critical distance between anchors [mm] hef effective anchor depth [mm] SW installation wrench or distance between the nut faces [mm]
